We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

Thank for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running on Sunday 10th October the Royal Parks Half Marathon in memory of my uncle Jim (10-Dec-1941 to 19th-Jul-10). Jim was struck with a brain tumour in the last year of his life and I would be very greatful if you would donate what you can to Brain Tumour Research. Please spend just one minute and read the information on their website to familiarise yourself with what they do.

Brain Tumour Research represents the united campaign voice of the Brain Tumour Research group of charities.  Established in 2008, the charity Brain Tumour Research was launched specifically to raise substantial funds for brain tumour research and operates as a separate entity to the member charities.

Jim leaves behind his wife Julia, daughters Germaine and Michaela and grandchildren Lewis and Harry. They would welcome your contribution along with the families that may yet suffer the loss of a loved one.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
