I hope you can help me raise some money for an excellent local charity. Dandelion Time is a Maidstone based organisation set up in 2003 to support children who have been the victims of trauma, abuse, or neglect. Over the years they have helped bring about positive outcomes for lots of children and families and I'm glad to have an opportunity to try and help them raise some money. If you can help I know they will be very grateful for any support you can give.

On September 20th I'm going back to France for another bike ride. I know it's not normal behaviour but I'm going to try and ride my bike up Mont Ventoux, one of the toughest climbs in France, three (or maybe 4) times in a day. I'll be setting off from a place called Bedoin with my dad (in the van) at 5 am on September 20th and I hope to make it to the summit for the second time by 11.00 and a third time by about 2pm. By that stage I'll have ridden 140 km and climbed 4400m If I think I can manage it and it's not getting dark I'll try the fourth, off-road route to the top. There are only 26 people from the UK who have completed the four climbs in a day so we'll see how I go. 

I've really enjoyed the training and am nervously looking forward to it. I'll be posting some photos through the day of me in various states of distress and relief for your amusement.
