On the 1st September I will be swimming the length of lake Windermere accompanied by a good friend Eileen Partington in a kayak as part of the wow event. 

   I hope to complete the 11 miles with one stop in 5-6hours I have never swum further than 7 miles so it will be a serious challenge. I frequently compete in endurance events and find them a huge positive helping to de stress and keep motivated. 

  I have decided to try and raise money for TASC which is a charity supporting ambulance staff who are having a difficult time mentally or physically. Anything you can donate towards this excellent cause would be really appreciated.
