Show Racism the Red Card is an anti-racism education charity which utilises the high profile of professional footballers as anti-racist role-models to combat racism in society. We produce educational resources and deliver training events and workshops. For more details please see www.theredcard.org

Story

My name is Matty Crawley and I am raising money for Show Racism the Red Card with my friend Ammon Hussain.  We are Year 9 pupils at Penketh High School in Warrington.  Our school has encouraged us to fund raise for a charity so that we can help people who are not as fortunate as us.

We chose Show Racism the Red Card because we want everyone to enjoy sport as much as we do.  We do not think it is right that people should be prevented by taking part in any sport because of racism.
