Thank you to everyone who has donated to this page already - I am enjoying my final night of freedom before going to Jail!!!

I am going to be in Jail at Eric Liddell Centre on Friday 22nd March and cannot be released until I have raised my Bail in the form of donations from family and friends - I do hope that you will save me from 'porridge' and help a really worthwhile cause!!

Within the walls of a very ordinary looking church building at Holy Corner in Edinburgh, thanks to the Eric Liddell Centre staff and volunteers, extraordinary Community activities take place.

The Eric Liddell Centre provides Daycare for 70 people living with a diagnosis of dementia every week, supports Carers all over Edinburgh, delivers Caring Soles, our unique low cost footcare service for elderly people at four Centres in the city, offers Befriending opportunities, as shown in the image above, to clients and carers, provides low cost offices for 8 smaller charities and hosts over 180 classes and meetings of community groups every week.

The Centre faces the twin challenges of ever growing demand for our services and a reduction in funding available from the private sector.
