Plymouth Half Marathon · 3 June 2012

We believe that all pets should have access to veterinary care – regardless of their owners’ financial situation. Over 100 years, we’ve helped more than 20 million sick and injured pets – providing life-saving vet care to more vulnerable pets than any other animal charity in the UK today.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have raised over £50,000 for charities over the past 7 years.  I have walked the Great Wall of China which alone raised £6,000.  I've taken part in 7 Plymouth half marathons, abseiled down the 120ft Bickleigh viaduct, braved the hot coals of a firewalk and taken part in 2 thirteen mile midnight walks.  As well as this I have carried out several bucket collections, and door to door collections.

I am supporting PDSA this year as they are currently fundraising to build a purpose built PetAid hospital in Plymouth.  This is very important as their existing building which they have been using for almost 40 years is no longer fit for purpose.  Space is very tight and often people have to queue outside as there's not enough room in the waiting room.

I thank you in advance for supporting me!  If you are watching the Plymouth half marathon and see me on the day, then please give me a cheer.  I was the last one to finish last year, but at the end of the day my determination saw me through.  I would never give up as I have a lot of generous sponsors depending on me!
