Howdy ! Thank you for checking my page,

..and I wrote this so if you are procrastinating at work you've found the perfect excuse- its even a good cause! Plus when you are finished reading this I will give you a tip on how to avoid some unnecessary calories this very week...

Dementia is one of those things that can happen to anyone, anyone you love, it could be your parents in the next few years or your partner, it could even be you. Its hard to live with this and it is progressive; there are no cures for most types of Dementia but research is progressing what we know and can do about it. People who suffer it can feel terribly lonely and scared, just like with any other uncurable chronic disease.

But things can and will get better.

We can help get funding to help people who suffer from this, to pay for research and find a cure. It is not only about the far future; doing something about this lets people who are affected know they are not alone. Think of it as giving a big fat hug to a stranger ( without actually having to be awkard and giving a big fat hug to a stranger)..and for all your contributions I will run and get really sweaty somewhere in London; the running in itself does not find a cure but it does send the message out there that my friends, family and myself care.

Think of it as good karma, putting some good will in the destiny's piggy bank or simply and pragmaticaly we are improving the lot of the human race. Think of me and you and all those really good times we've had and will have that would be so sad to loose to dementia if it was to happen to us. Or don't think so hard about it and sacrifice a couple lattes or pints this week for a good cause...and there is your tip on how to get fitter this week being really good. =)
