In typical mallen fashion I have decided to run a marathon with very little training and have left the fundraising quite late as well!!! 

I am running this marathon for my Grandad who is an incredibly strong man and a complete warrior! He would probably tell me in his northern accent that back in his day he would have run the marathon in sub 2 hours with clogs on. Maybe il get him a new pair in Amsterdam. 

Grandad suffers from asbestosis and I have seen how debilitating it can be from just going up the stairs to getting out of bed, it really affects your quality of life. 

This charity looks to help those suffering and others who are affected as a knock on consequence and provide support and guidance.
