We exist to to help children with hydrocephalus

Story

I'm Max and I am shaving off my beard on the 24th April at the OC Junior rugby end of season to help support the fantastic work that Harry's HAT do to improve life for children and their families who are affected by hydrocephalus, by improving management of the condition.

Despite the fact that hydrocephalus is the most common reason for brain surgery in children and affects 1 in every 770 babies born in the UK today, relatively little is known about the condition. Additionally, there is little investment into the management of condition on a national scale.

My son's best friend, Lucas, suffers from hydrocephalus which is essentially the build-up of fluid in the cavities (ventricles) deep within the brain. To date he has had more than 20 operations, to insert or adjust a shunt in his head and Harry's HAT has helped to make this slightly more bearable for him and his family.

Please give whatever you can to support them.
