Max's 4 x 4 x 48

4 x 4 x 48 · 29 May 2020
The basics of the 4 x 4 x 48 challenge were made famous by former Navy SEAL David Goggins. The challenge is as follows: Run 4 Miles (6.4km) every 4 hours for 48 hours. I'll start by running my first 4 miles on 8pm Friday 29th May and run 4 miles again at midnight, 4am, 8am etc. until i have ran 4 miles 12 times (48 mile total).
This will leave me with roughly 3 and a bit hours inbetween to shower, eat and hopefully sleep. I anticipate this is more of a mental than physical challenge due to the lack of sleep.
The end goal is starting (and finishing) the 12th and final run around 4pm Sunday 31st May.
This is all in aid of raising funds for the Wellspring who provide support and food for those most in need. Foodbank usage have surged to an all-time high during the current climate and help is needed to support those struggling - including NHS and frontline staff.
Thanks for reading and if anybody fancies running the 4am graveyard shift with me - you are more than welcome!
