Story
Last year a very good friend of mine, Holly Monk, tragically passed away on the 20th November. She was an avid sailor and loved nothing more than being out on the water. Sailing was her hobby but she was constantly trying to make it he career. Holly excelled at her sport and was a member of the Cumbria Youth Sailing team and had just been accepted into the Scottish Keelboat academy, which I know she was so exited about.
Holly not only loved sailing but she loved teaching younger children how to sail, getting them fully hooked on the sport! Always laughing and joking about, Holly truly brightened up everyones day when they saw her.
Holly was the life and soul of the party and will be truly missed.
To mark 1 year since Holly's passing I will be shaving my head to raise money for the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation.
It would mean so much if you would be able to help me raise money for this amazing charity. The Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation uses sailing to promote health and wellbeing, and develop personal skills that will improve a young person's ability to succeed in life and work.
