Story
I want to raise awareness and support for the Alzheimer’s Society. To help not only those suffering with dementia but for their caregivers, their family and friends who also suffer as a result of this disease. In particular I am walking for the loving memory of my sisters father Bill whom we sadly lost to Alzheimer’s. And in the now for my friend John and for his fantastic family. Having sore feet is the least I can do to help raise some money to contribute in breaking down barriers for a cure. Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year, that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to Alzheimer's Society. So it's the most efficient way to raise money, saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Let's take on dementia together!
I would appreciate anything you could possibly donate.
THANK YOU❤️
