After being diagnosed with a brain tumour I was referred to Southampton Neurological Hospital and in 2016 I had the majority of the tumour removed.  Prior to this and after surgery The Brain Tumour Charity helped me and my family with information, support and generally just being there.  Whilst in hospital there were so many people of all ages with brave and sad stories so any help with research for the future is valuable and this is very close to our hearts.

I am also doing this with my dear friend Fiona Turner who lost her beloved husband Pete to a Brain Tumour 9 years ago, he gave a good fight.

We are doing the Bournemouth Half Marathon in place of Bath Half marathon as it was cancelled.
