From funding and finding last wishes to paying for nurses and trips away to providing grants to take away some pressure families face while their child is in hospital.

My name is Max Mckenzie and I am 11 years old. When I was 5 years old I was diagnosed with a brain tumour which has left me blind in my left eye. I had 16 months of horrible chemo, blood transfusions, tests, MRIs, and operations followed by a 9 hour life threatening brain surgery to remove the tumour. I spent a lot of time being poorly and missed out on time with my friends and had to give up football for a while.
Since my diagnosis all I have wanted to do is help other children and make them smile.

The Liam Fairhurst Foundation helped me a lot when I was poorly. They sent me and my family along with 16 other families to Disneyland. It was amazing and I really want to help other brave poorly children experience what I was able to do. I am wanting to raise enough to be able to send several children and their families. I am also holding a charity ball on the 28th September
