Story
Thank you for visiting my page! 3 years after originally planning to run (thank you global pandemic), I am finally running the London Marathon this Sunday!
I will be running in memory of my Dad who suffered a fatal heart attack in 2012.
Around 44,000 people under the age of 75 in the UK die from heart and circulatory diseases each year and heart and circulatory diseases cause more than a quarter of all deaths in the UK; that's nearly 170,000 deaths each year - an average of 460 people each day or one death every three minutes.
£24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps.
Running is not my 'thing' so your kind donations really will be what push me over the finish line.
