Maya Wig Fund · 5 February 2021

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

As you all know Maya is 11 years old and has JUVENILE IDIOPATHIC ARTHRITIS (JIA) & Chronic Uevitis. Please note this charity helps children with wigs for Cancer however with Wahwguru Ji's Kirpa this is not the case with Maya 🙏

Maya lost her sight in the left eye in 2018 and recently undergoing surgery she never regained her sight despite all efforts made by her Consultants and Surgeons.

Her arthritis has left Maya with continuous joint paints, weakness, fatigue and hair loss.

Maya is one inspirational child who goes through so much pain, ongoing treatment which requires monthly IV drips, weekly injections and daily medicenes. She never complains; cries it out and starts all over again. She is such an inspiration, a gift she has to keep going and smiling. She's so loving, bubbly, articulate affectionate always puts others before herself. She is very respected and loved by her family, friends and teachers.

Maya is losing her hair due to her ongoing illness and requires a wig. The Little Princess Trust is helping with Maya's wig so she can feel herself again and have normal hair. She loves putting her hair up, buns and is very sad to lose her natural hair.

I would like your help to raise £500 for Maya's wig and donate to the trust helping Maya's wish come true.

Please however small your contribution is, it will help Maya get new HAIR.

Thank You x
