I lost my mum to cancer earlier this year; she loved animals and I grew up in a home where there was always a cat or two. When I was older and had my own place, I adopted a cat from the RSPCA in Bristol who'd been found in a cardboard box; it was love at first sight and I had him in my life for 15 years. I believe in adopting animals and I am grateful that there are sanctuaries, such as the RSPCA, that rescue and care for unwanted/homeless animals. I wanted to raise funds for the RSPCA, in honor of my mum...I could never run 13 miles, but I sure as hell will row it. Thank you for your donation.
