As part of my mitzvah project I am asking you to contribute to a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. I have recently gotten involved with an organization called Sea Shepherd, they deal hands-on with issues like overfishing, ocean plastics, bycatch and illegal fishing boats. The volunteers risk their lives in international waters fighting against  Illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing vessels. 

I would also recommend you watch my favorite documentary called Seaspiracy on Netflix. It may not be appropriate for children of young ages due to some graphic/upsetting content but I do highly recommend it if you want to better understand why this is so important to me.
