Who would have imagined that after the horrific pain that we went through over the last couple of years, we would be stupid enough to do it all over again? Well of course we are!

 

Last year, on June 23rd we started to play at Sherfield Oaks at 5am, just as the sun was rising over the 1st tee. We played both courses there (Wellington & Waterloo) before proceeding to Sandmartins before ending at Bearwood as the sun set at around 9.30pm.

 

Luckilly it wasn't as hot as 2010 so all rounds were more managable. Even Paul didn't whinge as much! Nick joined us last year and wasn't put off enough to stop him, along with James, Bryan & Paul for the 2012 challenge. This time we are going to raise a lot more money!

 

In doing so we managed a team score of 368 points and most importantly raising approximately £1500.

 

We will be playing on Thursday 21st June 2012. This year we'll be playing at Wokefield Park, Tylney Park and the two courses at Sherfield Oaks and the challenge is now set to get a Hole-in-One as Paul did at Sherfield in last years challenge (all played for of course...) Who will step up to the plate???

 

What we need from you, in return for the terrible pain we're going to go through is money! I know that times are tough for everyone but I have no doubt that most if not all of you reading this have at one time or another been affected by the shocking disease that is Cancer. Macmillan offer support services to both those affected and their families.

 

Please also pass this on to friends, family, colleagues....in fact anyone who will give us money.
