We provide grants and support to those affected by Glioblastoma

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We have got together to do the Ultra Challenge, which involves a 25km walk through Windsor on 1st April 2023, to raise money and awareness for our good friend's charity (The Jay C Trust).

This is a small charity that was set up in memory of Jayesh Chauhan to Glioblastoma. Jay was a wonderful friend and neighbour

Brain tumours known as Glioblastoma are fast growing and aggressive. They are malignant grade 4 tumours with an average survival time of about 12-18 months. Only 25%of patients survive more than one year and only 5% of patients survive more than 5 years.

The charity is a non-profit organisation, supporting families and those affected by Glioblastoma brain tumours. They provide non-medical support and grants to help ease some of the financial burden for families caring for loved ones with Glioblastoma.

Please help us to help families going through this terrible illness.

The Jay C Trust is a charity formed in loving memory of Jayesh Chauhan, who lost his battle to a Glioblastoma at the age of 56. We help to raise awareness and support those affected by Glioblastoma, the most common and aggressive brain tumour in adults and children. We aim to make a difference!
