Make-A-Wish UK is part of a global movement that exists to make life-changing wishes come true for the thousands of critically ill children across the UK. The power of a wish allows families to create lasting memories that they will treasure forever – no matter what the future holds.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

Over the next 10 months I am aiming to raise £3,000 for the Make A Wish Foundation to enable me to complete a trek up Machu Picchu in August 2015.

The Make A Wish Foundation is an incredible charity that grants magical wishes to children fighting life-threatening conditions.

The wishes granted by the Make A Wish Foundation can offer so much for desperately ill young people and their families by giving them a chance to create a special memory and give them  relief from the pain they are suffering.

To read more about some of the wishes the charity has already granted go to http://www.make-a-wish.org.uk/wishes/stories

This page will be the foundation for my fundraising but over the next 10 months I will be organising a variety of different events, challenges and occasions to boost my fundraising total.

I have chosen to climb Machu Picchu because trekking is something I love doing and there is nothing better than completing a challenge like this than knowing it is all for a great cause.

I have no doubt that the next 10 months will be a challenge as, of course, will the climb itself, but with hard work and the support of friends, family and generous donations,  I am determined that I will reach the target.

Thank you so much for your support, it is really appreciated, and any donation will go a long way to improving the lives of suffering young people.
