Together for Short Lives is a charity that specialises in securing the best quality of life and best end of life care for children who will have short lives, supporting both the child and the family.
Hearing the news that your child has a life-shortening condition and is likely to die young is devastating. It’s an incredibly distressing and confusing time. These children have very complex and unpredictable conditions and often need round the clock care, seven days a week. Families have to cope with the knowledge that their child will die before them, and daily life for the whole family can become challenging.

So, a few of us at Hays are completing a 26 mile trek (all in ONE day) at Kinder Scout in the beautiful Peak District (weather depending on the term beautiful!!). This is basically me having to walk the length of a marathon in a whole day.. Up a mountain.. With very short legs!! So please donate what you can to help donate money and raise awareness for this fantastic charity!
