Story
In August 2010 I was diagnosed with Adolecent Idiopathic Scoliosis, just a year later in September 2011 I underwent an 8 hour surgery to correct my spine, which has been an enabler to ensure future quality of life and has improved my confidence drastically.
My aunt was also diagnosed many years ago, she suffered and struggled greatly through her life.
However between her operation back in the early 70's and my operation in 2011, medical research has vastly improved the success rate of operations. It is essential that through funding, research contiunes for future sufferes.
The Scoliosis Association is a charity that is very close to our hearts and was especially important to my aunt. She was a very regular contributer to the SAUK and I would love to carry on what she had started.
The donations you give are very much appreciated and I am very grateful that you have taken your time to read this.
Thank you :-) x
