I’m raising money for The Civil Liberties Trust, which funds the work of the human rights organisation Liberty. Liberty safeguards human rights and civil liberties in the UK. Founded on the principles of human dignity and individual freedom, Liberty holds the powerful to account and ensures ordinary people have a voice.

As a Liberty staff member, I have the privilege of working at Liberty every day. But running the London Marathon for Liberty allows me to defend human rights by taking on a physical and mental challenge that will push me to my limits. I hope to inspire others to fundraise for Liberty in order to achieve their own goals while promoting the importance of human rights and civil liberties.
