My wonderful friend Talan died in May 2017, of a rare childhood Cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma, he was only 19 years old. Tal was the bubbliest person you could ever hope to meet, aways making everyone laugh. He was such a positive force of energy, even when suffering immensely from this horrible illness.

After he passed away Talan's lovely family set up Talan's Trust, a charitable trust that feeds directly into the Chris Lucas Trust, which funds two full time researchers of childhood cancers. In September I will be participating in the Swim Serpentine 2019 in Hyde Park, swimming half a mile to raise money for Talan's Trust.
