Kettlebell Swing World Record Attempt · 15 March 2020

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

I am aiming to get my previous Kettlebell Swing World Record back to raise money for the MS Society. In 2017 I organised a 12-Hour Kettlebell Swingathon and as part of that I went for a Guinness World Record - Heaviest Weight Lifted in One Hour - Kettlebell Swing (Female). I successfully achieved this title and held it for two years. I will now attempt to hold the title once again.

My dad has suffered with MS for many years but his condition has significantly deteriorated over the last few years and he now lives with severe symptoms and is seriously unwell. There is currently no cure for the condition and it isn't very well understood. The money I raise will be going towards research to help improve treatment and hopefully find a cure in the future, so that people with MS don't have to suffer like my Dad has.
