We are doing the boxing day dip, in memory of our Grandad who sadly lost his battle to cancer on Monday 9th December 2013. Since his diagnosis in May 2013 he was in and out of hospital many times, in November he was admitted into Teesside Hospice where he recieved palative care from the doctors and nurses that worked there. From visiting him in the hospice and also speaking on the phone we could see the difference, he seemed happier and more comfortable, they looked after him and gave him the attentive palative care that he needed. As his Grandaughters we would like to show our gratitude to Teesside Hospice and the staff that looked after our Grandad, by participating in the boxing day dip and raising money in order for them to continue helping others in the same situation.
