Hey guys! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In April 2016 I will volunteer for 3 months on a development programme in Kenya. This is part of International Citizen Service (ICS), which brings young people together to fight poverty and make a difference where it is needed most. I'll be testing the skills and knowledge I have gained at University while working alongside volunteers from Kenya to promote sustainable economic growth through entrepreneurship. I will be working with around 6 local entrepreneurs to launch exciting businesses that create jobs and improve lives. 

Over the course of 12 weeks, I will work with these entrepreneurs to build innovative business plans based on the knowledge I have shared with them, including idea generation, product development, marketing, micro-finance and business efficiencies. At the end of the programme, together we will pitch to a panel for investment to transform these ideas into reality. 

I need to raise £1500. It is very important to know that not a single penny of your donations pay for my travel, visas, vaccinations etc. The money raised will go towards supporting the work of Balloon Ventures and will contribute to the investment fund our entrepreneurs pitch for. The UK government’s Department for International Development (DFID) funds 90% of the ICS programme.
