Story

I am running this half marathon for a very special person, my step dad, Keith. He was diagnosed with a brain tumour nearly 3 years ago and wasn't given long to live. However, against all odds, he has fought this horrible disease and continues to fight everyday. Keith is such an inspiration and he has taught me how to be strong and how to keep going no matter what. Shipston Home Nursing is a wonderful charity who provides care at home for terminally ill people. The support and care that they have provided for Keith has been amazing and I can't thank them enough. I want to raise money for them so they can help other people who are fighting  this horrible disease.

Running has not come easily to me having had a baby 8 months ago. But I am determined to do this for Keithy and for this fantastic charity. So please help me raise as much money as possible by sponsoring me. I am already looking forward to that large glass of wine that will be waiting for me at the finish line!!!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you
