We provide a Brighter Future to enhance care for our patients

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am the receptionist and school Governor at Royal Wootton Bassett Academy and have been supporting our school charity Brighter Futures since 2012, raising funds for Great Western Hospital Brighter Futures Radiotherapy appeal.

In May this year i am planning an epic cycle ride with Malcolm, Emma and Steve from Lands End to John O'Groats, with our amazing crew Carol and Sue who will be ensuring we are well supported.

We will be cycling approximately 100 miles a day over 9 days and will be climbing in excess of 49,000 ft - hills, hills and more hills.

Money raised will be donated to (Brighter Futures Charity) GWH Breast Centre  to provide increased breast screening for women aged 50 - 70 in Swindon and the surrounding area. At present five rapid access clinics support approx 16 patients per clinic, with your donations a further four clinics will provide increased support for 30 patients per clinic.

Brighter Futures Charity will also be supporting prostate cancer at GWH with your donation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
