Story

On July 22nd 2017 I will be abseiling from the top of the medieval vaulted, central crossing tower of Lincoln Cathedral, built in 1240, a free-hanging drop of 98 feet, on behalf of Nottingham Hospitals Charity.

This is one of the scariest things I have ever done and I’m the first to drop (yikes)…… slightly worried…… but for those of you who saw that scene with Juliette Binoche in The English Patient and the flare, one of the most romantic film sequences ever, you will understand why I want to do it.  I have had my name down to do this abseil for 2 years.

If you would like to sponsor me, as it’s for a very worthwhile cause, please visit my JustGiving page and sign up to whatever you feel you can donate.
