We’re Breast Cancer Now, the charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing care. We’re here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future. By 2050, we believe everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live – and be supported to live well. But we need to act now.

Story

Thank you for visiting my page. As many of you are aware, in August 2008, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I underwent months of treatment including chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy. With the amazing support of my fiance Mark, sister and mother as well as my doctors, family and friends, I was able to make a full recovery and will be approaching my two year anniversary 22nd August. Having cancer has given me many gifts but one in particular is the passion to help others who are fighting this terrible disease by raising money for a very worthwhile organisation.

Breakthrough Breast Cancer is an organisation that does such important work behind the scenes to help people like me cope with a diagnosis as well as they conduct  life-saving research. I am so excited to raise money for Breakthrough through the charity Too Many Women.  Too Many Women has an ambitious goal of raising GBP 1 million for Breakthrough for 2010 so i will be doing several events throughout the year as my team's target is GBP 5000. Several of my friends have agreed to help fundraise as well so it is a great team effort and hopefully a lot of fun!

Thank you for your donation. I can assure you it is going to a great cause. Breakthrough will continue trying to find a cure so that, one day, no woman will have to fight breast cancer.
