Story

Starting on Monday 5th August 2013, I will be living without chocolate and Pepsi Max until Friday 20th September, 2013 to raise money for Nottingham Street Pastors. So you know I'll stay honest and maintain my integrity, I have committed to match the total pledges from you guys as a donation to Street Pastors if any chocolate has passed my lips by 20/9/13!

Nottingham Street Pastors is a street and neighbourhood project that is part of the Malt Cross Trust. We, as a group of volunteers, go out into the local community on weekly shifts to love, care for, support and listen to those we meet. The Estates project I volunteer for is critically short of funds, and to allow us to keep reaching out to people in love, we need to raise more money.

We are there to engage with the community and get to know people, giving support to those who need it - whether that is helping an elderly person carry their shopping home, chatting to a young mum who is facing domestic violence, working with young people to overcome life issues, or spending time with someone who feels isolated and alone. We are there to help anyone with anything, including to gain access to services they may know nothing about.

Get in touch if you'd like more info! And please, dig deep :)
