We’re Age UK and we’re here to make sure every older person feels included and valued. Whether it’s providing free information and advice, tackling loneliness and isolation or campaigning for older people’s rights – we’ll be there. Your support makes it possible.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Mercer in Bristol Sponsored  Walk JustGiving page.

On the 2nd August 2013, a super fit team (sic) of colleagues will set out to conquer 44 and a bit miles of rolling mountains (steep inclines), through ancient landscapes, open downland, across rivers, through secluded valleys and woods, following the same route used since prehistoric times. We have 2 days to conquer this huge challenge on The Ridgeway in Wiltshire, with overnight camping in the middle of nowhere.

There will be plenty of blisters, hardship, a few giggles, teamwork and no doubt a few tears (and this is just from Andy).

Your team of intrepid travellers are: Lauren Sainsbury, Giles Craddock; Jason Warhurst, Donna Biggs, Rob Smith, Andy Marshall, Chris Salkeld, Kevin Hurlow,  Lizzie Hall, Ian Mackenzie, Ian Forward, Rob Nosworthy and James Phippen.

So please dig deep and donate now, it’s such a worthy cause!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
