The Manchester Health branch have pledged to raise £1000 for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital’s Many Hands campaign from the 1st March 2014 for 12 months. 

The aim of the Many Hands campaign which was founded in 2008 is to raise £50,000 to fund the Burns Camp project in 2014, sending 50 children away for a week’s rehabilitative holiday. The camps aim is to provide activities for children who have suffered from burns and subsequent scarring. Often children who have suffered burns injuries lose their confidence and have to learn to cope in a world that isn’t kind to people who look different. The purpose of the camps is to provide fun, support and rehabilitation as well as enhancing self-esteem.
