Messtival 2: Kat's Birthday Show @ Hobbit, Bevois Valley, Southampton - Raising money for Cancer Research
Cancer is a often spoken about as something that happens to others and it is only really when it touches you personally that you sit back and realise how it affects thousands of people every year in the UK alone.

When Tim (Seasick Promotions) said that I could hijack Messtival this year for my *cough* 29th birthday my immediate thought was not only to have an awesome line up but more importantly use the opportunity to raise as much money as possible for a charity that means so much to me.

The event took place on 27th March, and included a 12 band line up who played all day until 2am.  We had several events during the day including chest waxing and managed to tip the total closer to my £1000 target!
