You all know Me and Him in one way or another.  What you probably don't know is that Me and Him have directly experienced the effects of mental health issues.  This shouldn't be a surprise because approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience mental health problems each year.  In England, 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week.  Think about that for a minute.  Of 6 of your friends, the chances are that at least one of them will be experiencing a mental health problem.  Do you know?  Are you aware?  The chances are, no.  Because the chances are they are trying to deal with it on their own.  This is why charities like Mind are so important, raising awareness of mental health issues so that you, me, him have support when its needed.

So Me and Him thought to ourselves "what can we do to raise money and awareness for such a worthy charity?" The answer, my friends, is to leap out of a perfectly good airplane, strapped to another person, plummeting briefly (and possibly screaming like a little girl) before floating gently to earth (hopefully). Yes we are doing a tandem skydive! Although, clearly not strapped to each other.  That would be silly.  And dangerous.  As Alanis Morisette once said "isn't it ironic?".  

We've set ourselves a hard target to reach, but we are confident that you, our family, friends and colleagues, will dig deep not only because Mind is an excellent charity, but because the thought of Me and Him plummeting to earth, screaming like babies, makes you feel all warm and snuggly inside.  So please, dig deep, lets raise some cash and laugh at our terror in equal measures!
