Ella and I are doing the London Marathon Walk to fundraise for the Anaphylaxis Campaign and raise awareness of the important work they do in supporting families, like us.

We are joining our good friends Phoebe and Reeve, in honour of their family friend Tashi, who died last year from an anaphylactic reaction, eating a sandwich, onboard a plane with her Dad and best friend, on their way to their summer holiday......she was only 15   : (

This could have been us. We live with this fear every-single-day. Ella is anaphylactic to nuts and living with anaphylaxis and doing everyday things: eating out, birthday parties, school, flights, all can be a great challenge if people aren't aware of the severity of Ella's allergy. We lived in Sydney at the time of her diagnosis, and could not have coped without the support from Anaphylaxis Australia. Since we moved to London 6 years ago, we have received incredible support from The Anaphylaxis Campaign and the reason they are our chosen charity.

The Anaphylaxis Campaign are the only UK wide charity operating solely for the growing number of people at risk from severe allergic reactions and Anaphylaxis. The charity aims to create a safe environment for all people with allergies by educating the food industry, schools, nurses, colleges, health care professionals and other key individuals. The charity receives no government funding and relies on donations and fundraising. 

Phoebe and I will walk the full marathon, with Ella and Reeve joining us at the half way point.

We have been training over the summer and on the home-stretch now, so would really love your support! Any donation is greatly appreciated.
