I have taken on many challenges to raise money for Raystede this is definitely the most challenging of all.  I adore flying and the idea of wing walking grabbed me, yes, mad I know and I will be terrified .... The date is 13th May 2023!  

I started working at Raystede as a volunteer, some 12 years ago now.  A year later I applied for a job and got it!  I am now Customer Services Manager and look after a team of 25 or so volunteers on our welcome team.

Raystede is a unique and very special place, we help rehome over 1000 animals a year and give sanctuary to many more.  It costs over £5,000 a day to run the centre.  With the cost of living crisis more more animals are being surrendered so we need to help as many as possible.  Hence I am facing my fears and doing a wing walk to raise vital funds for animals in need.
