Story

On Sunday 10th November 2019 we lost Howie in a tragic accident whilst ridge walking between two peaks of the Ben Nevis range.

We’ve set up this page in his memory to enable everyone that knew and loved him to show their support and leave a message.

Howie lost his life doing something that he absolutely loved. He was a man on a mission, aiming to complete the 282 Munros in Scotland. At the time of his death he had only about 80 left to complete.

Howie will be remembered as intelligent, witty, wise and adventurous. He was a dedicated family man who was highly regarded and deeply loved by all who had the privilege of being a part of his life.

We love and miss him very much.

Any funds raised will be donated to Scottish Mountain Rescue who brought him home.
