The Jungle camps in northern France are home to thousand refugees from all across the world and more continuously arrive daily. The conditions within these camps are extremely poor with little sanitation and the spread of disease is rife. Refugees sleep in plastic tents that are prone to accidental fires and being blown away by strong winds. 13 Rivers aim to alleviate the suffering caused by the refugee crisis. Aim
Raise awareness of the plight of the refugees living in Calais and Europe. Use the experience to mobilise people in our own community into taking positive actions to alleviate their suffering.
