Story
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I didn't think I would be phased but now this is very real.... I am terrified!!
I need to stop googling sky dives gone wrong :( this is not helping me. I did find one page that said that As speeds of 125 mph are reached during freefall, the air resistance generated helps to remove dead skin cells, smoothing the skin closely against the face, increasing its elasticity and pushing away those wrinkles. The thinner air at this altitude also has an intensely beneficial oxidising effect on facial pore...well I never!?!?!
Anyway.... to take this leap of faith in support of Merseyside Autistic Childrens Society will be totally worth if...if I can drum up the support from my friends!
*****UPDATE***** I am also going to be doing the Liverpool Rock N Roll half Marathon end of May bank Holiday weekend!! Hoping this Might support my fundraising efforts!! *******
MACS works locally to offer support and information to families living with autism. They work with very little, to provide regular activities including swimming, bowling, adventure play and family outings.
Every penny that is given to them, I know will go directly to making a real difference and help fund their swimming sessions over the next year :)
Please, if you can afford to... bob a few quid on! You can take delight in seeing my freefall pics!
