Remembering Dad-Mick

Katherine Bryan-Merrett is raising money for The Bus Shelter Dorset
In memory of Michael Bryan Aka Mick
We are raising funds to help cover our electricity costs for The Bus Shelter so that our guests can Stay Warm this Winter

Story

As a huge thanks to the magnificent send off Angie McLachlan delivered for the funeral service of Michael Bryan, aka Mick-the-Van/Mike/Mick/Mickstability/Dad/Grandad we are fundraising with this charity that I feel would resonate with him.

Current charity needs

Our average electricity bill is around £2000 per month, even with the Energy Relief Scheme!!With the weather getting so much colder we need to ensure that we are able to provide adequate heating, lighting and provisions to cook meals, to our vulnerable guests at The Bus Shelter - We need to ensure that their basic needs and health needs are met throughout this period and would love your support! As a charity we believe that if people have their basic needs of sleep, food, water, warmth and safety met, they will be able to work positively towards achieving their goals and improving their future - and we see this on a daily basis so it is vital that we can continue to provide our support and service to our amazing guests! If you are able to support us, with just a few pounds, or by gifting your winter fuel allowance or energy relief payment, we would be so grateful to you for contributing to a safe and warm environment this winter for our guests.
