My wife Estelle is a Speech and Language Therapist, so I know that hearing words like ‘autism’, ‘delayed development’, ‘cerebral palsy’ or ‘learning difficulties’ can be devastating for parents.  Often families don’t know where to turn and where to seek support and all hope for improvement is lost.

For over 35 years, this small Chester based charity called ‘BIRD’ has been quietly transforming lives and bringing hope to over 250 families every year who have heard such words about their own child.

BIRD helps by providing families with a unique programme of exercises which facilitate neurological feedback to the brain by inhibiting primitive reflexes still present from birth. 

The results are remarkable, with families reporting massive improvements in their child's physical coordination, sleep patterns, toileting and social communication.
