Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am undertaking a real personal challenge in aid of a fantastic cause, the St. James's Place Foundation.  I intend to canoe the full length of the navigable Thames from Lechlade to London over a few days in the Summer.  It’s loads of miles and for someone whose only experience is watching a couple of episodes of Hawaii Five O and the Olympics in the Summer then rest assured that there will be pain, blisters, slow progress and real achievement.  The last time I was afloat on the Thames might have been in a university rowing boat and steering and shouting rather than paddling!!

This is not one of those ‘cycling in Cuba’ events where the sponsor pays a proportion of the price of trip.  I will be paying the full price of the undertaking (which thankfully is supported but does include camping!) so I need it to be worthwhile.  There is a team of us from St. James's Place going and I am determined to not only complete the course but get at the top of the table on the fundraising.  Please help me to achieve this.

No amount is too small and I am hoping to collect from anyone that I have ever met across all of my networks!  St. James's Place takes it’s corporate citizenship very seriously and for every £1 that is donated to the Foundation then this is matched, that’s after the giftaid too so £1 gets to £1.25 and that will then end up as £2.50 for the Foundation.  I will personally make up the JustGiving fees for the first £2,000 that I raise so what is stopping you?
