Story
As most of you reading this are probably aware our good friend James Milbourne past last July. The loss of such a larger than life character has left many of us with heavy hearts. I'm not able to put eloquently how much he meant to everyone who knew him, however I will say he has been and will continue to be a positive inspiration in my life.
In an attempt to bring some positives out of this tragedy many of us closest to him have been doing fundraising. Ben, Paul and Mark have done the Milbgrimage for the British heart foundation and his former football team VDL organised a charity match for SILA. A special mention has to go to Kayte Bennett as well. She was going to be running for Crohns disease (another affliction James suffered from), yet has had to pull due to injury. Please donate what you can and gift aid it if possible. The charity I'll be running for is called SILA, which is a sarcoidosis charity. Fortunately sarcoidosis is a relatively rare condition. Unfortunately due to this there is a lack of knowledge about it in the public, so please help me raise as much money as possible for this relatively unknown charity for a condition which took the life of a friend far too soon.
Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Mike
