There are many charities that need our support and like all of you I donate regularly to several but I wanted to do something extra, so when a colleague at work mentioned the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 I thought why not. I know that I am not as young as I used to be but I am training and getting a lot of help and support from the family. I have my own challenges like bad knees and I had a heart attack a year ago but I am not going to let that stop me. I am not training to be an elite athlete but I am determined to complete the event, increase my fitness and at the same time raise funds for those that put their lives at risk to defend us whenever we need it. So please follow my training progress and donate whatever you can for our men and women in the British Forces.
