Story
My daughter Emma, was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2001, when she was eleven years old. She has never let it define her.
She and I have run numerous road races together starting in 2005 with a 3 mile race. We worked our way up to half marathons and then to the Baystate Marathon in 2015. I never would have done it without her!
Emma moved to Philadelphia and is super in to Crossfit. I am still a runner and decided to run the Rock 'N' Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon as a fund raiser for CURE Epilepsy in Emma's honor. (And as a good excuse to visit)!
Given the Coronavirus Pandemic, I will not be running the race in person, however I will run it virtually and would still like to raise money for CURE.
