On 13 October I will be sleeping out overnight at Wembley Stadium with 90 members of the business and Third Sector community: we have a common goal.

We are helping to raise vitally needed funds for the Cardinal Hume Centre to continue its brilliant work tackling poverty and homelessness - last year some 1,700 people received help, advice and support at a time when things became tougher for them and their families.

With my background in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award I am acutely aware of the need to help those who are struggling, and I am motivated to support the Centre's work as Cardinal Hume was such a wonderful mentor to me from the age of 13 until his early death.
