Michael sadly lost his battle with leukaemia on 13th March ‘23.  When Michael received his acute leukaemia diagnosis, we were absolutely devastated. Upon receiving this news, he was immediately admitted onto Brabourne ward in K&C full time. Nothing could prepare us for such an explosion of emotions but the team of nurses and health care workers with their positive and remarkably caring warmth they showed us was exceptional. This helped  Michael to feel safe in their hands and of course they all fell in love with him. We wanted to set this page up as a tribute to Brabourne and the wonderful team, in the hope it may help other families like ours during the most traumatic times.
